Students who wish to receive Financial Aid or Scholarships (including all Morthland College scholarships) are required to complete and submit a FAFSA form. Morthland College’s FAFSA Code is 042279.

By the add/drop date of the applicable semester, all students must have paid in full, have FSA funds ready to meet the full amount of the bill, or be making payments of a formal MC payment plan. Students who fail to meet this will be administratively dropped on the add/drop date.
Online students taking eight-week courses must have paid in full by the add/drop date.
Traditional student accounts (those with a payment plan) must be paid in full by the 60% date of each term/semester, and meet the following payment schedule:
• 75% must be paid by the 40% date
• 100% must be paid by the 60% date
Students who have a remaining balance may be administratively withdrawn on the 61% day.
Students are required to update their contact information within 14 days after any changes. This includes phone numbers, address, marital status and name. Students may update by sending an email to the Registrar (email@example.com) or calling the main office at 618.937.2127.
MC sends invoices and links for payment through our Student Management System Populi and through your Morthland College email. To make payments, please click on the links provided or bring payment to the Business Office at Coleman Rhoads Hall, 305 East Main.
Students needing to withdraw from the College must meet with an advisor and submit a completed “Withdrawal Form.” Return form to the Office of Student Affairs. The Office of Student Affairs will then calculate any refund from the day the withdrawal form is submitted. According to federal regulations, any financial aid disbursed may be subject to repayment by students. Any student who owes a repayment on grants previously received or is in default on a loan is ineligible to receive additional financial aid.
Students who officially withdraw from Morthland College before the add/drop date for a particular course or courses shall be entitled to a full refund of all fees except a $100 administrative fee. Adjustment to the student tuition accounts for withdrawal, termination, dismissal, or suspension are made according to the following schedule based upon an eight-week semester.
– Withdrawal before the end of the 21st calendar day: 50%
– Withdrawal before the end of the 28th calendar day: 25%
– After the 28th calendar day, there are no refunds, except as required by Title IV Regulations.
Adjustment to the student tuition accounts for withdrawal, termination, dismissal, or suspension are made according to the following schedule based upon a course length of approximately four weeks.
– Withdrawal before the end of the 10th calendar day: 50%
– Withdrawal before the end of the 14th calendar day: 25%
– After the 18th calendar day, there are no refunds, except as required by Title IV Regulations.
