Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems
 
The program of study leading to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems is designed to give the student a broad and thorough understanding of Computer Information Systems within historical, philosophical, Biblical and scientific perspectives. It is designed for the persons seeking careers in information technology, computer systems, networking, data management, data exchange, and other fields related computers.
 
Graduates will demonstrate the following competencies: 1) a broad understanding of the disciplines of computer information systems 2) through the study of our classical core, extensive competency in writing, reading, critical analysis, and synthesis that leads to a senior thesis, and 3) a Christian world view through the study of our Biblical core.
 
Students will master concepts in computer information systems, computer programming, data structures, operating systems, networking and communication, advanced programming, database management, systems analysis and design, and training in general business principles and management.
